LeBron James can’t help to comment that the Lakers still need to show improvement on their gameplay, especially the Game 6 is fast approaching. He said that they need to keep the series “alive.” Although James didn’t comment against the Suns, he’s pretty determined to do better in the upcoming games.
James still had high hopes that the Lakers will bring out their best game on Thursday, as they are the defending NBA Champions. He added that it’s a win or go home, but he believes in the Lakers’ ability and faithfulness to the game. He’s also looking forward to game 6 because it may bring out the best in him too.
Anthony Davis’ absence due to a groin injury created a huge disadvantage to the Lakers. Recently, James cautioned Davis not to rush his groin injury, because it will greatly affect his performance and compromise the team in the future. His health status is still questionable until now, and it’s unclear whether he’s ready to go back on Thursday or not. James changed his mindset that Davis might not be in Game 6, so he had to readjust their gameplay.
