A new update from Indiana Pacer’s Twitter account states that Malcolm Brogdon will not be returning to the team due to a sore right hamstring. The former Rookie of the Year’s game against the Brooklyn Nets was forced to conclude, even without the presence of its starting point guard.
The injury had greatly affected his performance because it limits him to move in his 12-minute game during the second quarter of the game. He already missed all of his 5 shots and had only incurred 1 point for the team. What’s even worse is that the Pacers are already short-handed after losing Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner, Goga Bitdze, and Jeremy Lamb due to injuries, making it an easy victory for the Nets.
The game between the Pacers and the Nets had concluded with a record of 130-113 in favor of the Nets after Kevin Durant becoming a big help to score for the Nets.
After leading the Nets with a record of 31-23, Kevin Durant rested to the bench and went back again during the second quarter to lead the team for a 48-32 lead. Because of the Pacer’s loss of players, they were about to suffer failure to advance after losing to the Portland Trail Blazers.
Malcolm Brogdon currently has a recorded average of 21.5 points, while his shooting is 39.1 from the 3-point range. Indiana Pacer’s current standing for three games is still under .500 and was ranked 9th place in the Eastern Conference, which is already counted as a disadvantage for the team to place higher in the next games.
Since Brodgon’s return remained questionable, the Indiana Pacers’ condition as a team is questionable to victory, too.
