Despite missing Kawhi Leonard with foot soreness, the Los Angeles Clippers raced away with victory to improve their recent run to 12 wins in 14 matches.
In Leonard’s absence, forward Paul George delivered big points again with 36 for the game, along with seven rebounds and eight assists.
Marcus Morris Sr scored 22 points and had seven rebounds, while center Ivica Zubac added 14 points and seven boards.
The Clippers are third in the West with a 38-18 record, not far behind the Phoenix Suns in second with a 39-15 record.
The Suns knocked off the Miami Heat 106-86 on Tuesday, with Deandre Ayton pulling down 13 rebounds and scoring 19 points, while Devin Booker was quieter with 12 points.
The Utah Jazz remain clear in top in the West after another win, 106-96 over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Utah’s record is 41-14.
In the East, the Brooklyn Nets continued their strong form with a 127-97 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in their rescheduled matinee game.
With James Harden (hamstring) and Kyrie Irving (personal) both out, Kevin Durant picked up the slack with 31 points, four rebounds and four assists.
The Nets draw level with the Philadelphia 76ers with 37-17 records ahead of their meeting on Wednesday night.
