Beasley fined a huge amount

In the previous month there were some news on the Internet which mentioned the involvement of Michael Beasley in the incident regarding marijuana smoking which took place at the NBA Rookie Transition Program. ESPN published a report in which Beasley was mentioned but this report was in course of time edited and the part concerning Beasley was later removed. Incidentally Beasley has been currently working with the ESPN on a sequence of characteristics regarding his life as a rookie.

There were several rumors on the Internet about the involvement of Beasley in the marijuana incident. At last a photo was displayed on the Internet that exhibited Beasley and Mario Chalmers together and Chalmers holding an object that resembles a marijuana cigarette. However the origin of this photo could not be traced.

The latest news is that Beasley has been fined 50,000 USD by the league. This amount is more than twice the amount that had been charged to Darrell Arthur and Chalmers. The reasons stated for slapping such a fine are the involvement of Beasley in the NBA rookie transition program and his interference in the investigation of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

These incidences of levying fines on players have several aftermaths. The first effect is that the viewpoint that Beasley is unstable when the character issues are being examined is endorsed. This opinion is already an increasingly popular one. Although it appears that Beasley is fun-loving, harmless and likable his attitude towards strict rules is light-minded and fiercely independent. The second effect is that the truth of the original ESPN report is questioned and there is a doubt whether ESPN was involved in trying to maintain Beasley’s name out of the incident.
