The WNBA returned to action on Thursday, August 28, after a more than 2-week pause for players to return to their prospective countries in order to participate in the Olympics.

The Connecticut Sun beat the Indiana Fever, 84-58.
The Seattle Storm defeated the Houston Comets, 66-49.
The Los Angeles Sparks (the team with the most players on the US Women’s Olympic roster) beat the Sacrametno Monarchs, 78-63.
The Chicago Sky beat the New York Liberty, 69-60.
And the San Antonio Silver Stars, the hottest WNBA team going into the break, continued their winning ways, defeating the Phoenix Mercury, 77-55.
