The term 30-30 Club is a term used in Baseball who have accumulated 30 home runs and 30 stolen bases in one single. In 1922, Ken Williams made a significant record and was the first person to reach this achievement. For 34 years, he remained to be the only member of the 30-30 club until 1956, when Willie Mays achieved consecutive 30-30 club in 2 seasons. Ultimately, Bobby Bonds became the first Major League Baseball player who has reached this goal for more than 3 seasons until 1997.

Being in this club can gain a lot of privilege, like having the chance to have their star on the Hall of Fame. But before they could be qualified for this club, the player needs to exude power and speed in playing baseball. So far, only 41 players are included in the club, which was composed of 28 right-handed batters, 8 left-handed batters, and 5 switch-handed batters. Only a few teams have more than 3 players to reach this achievement.
30-30 Club as the Most Celebrated Status
Because of the tough competition, few players have reached this goal and become experts at stealing bases and hitting home runs. The Baseball Digest referred to the club as the most celebrated feat because players who possessed power and speed are the ones who can only be included in the club. Out of the 22 members, only 8 members have been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, in which the player has been retired for more than five years or deceased for at least 6 months. Active players are not allowed yet to be included in the Hall of Fame.
