Francisco Felix
Francisco Javier Felix is a professional baseball player from Mexico who plays as a pitcher. An undrafted free agent, Felix was picked up by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2003 and was sent to the Dominican Summer Dodgers for the next two seasons, to play in Dominican local league. He was then sent to the Saltillo Saraperos for the 2005-06 season, in Mexico.
Felix returned to the USA in 2006 and played for the Columbus Catfish before being sent back to the Saraperos till the end of the season. Felix returned again in 2007, joining the Great Lakes Loons in the A-League before moving up to the Inland Empire 66ers in the Advanced A-League.
Felix played 25 games for the 66ers and was sent up to the Las Vegas 51s, in 2008, after starting the year with the 66ers. Playing in the AAA-League at the end of the season, Felix suffered a minor setback as he was pushed back to the Chattanooga Lookouts at the start of the 2009 season, in the AA-League. 29 games, a 2.93 ERA and a 3-2 record later, he was moved up to the Albuquerque Isotopes in the AAA-League where he played 14 games at an ERA of 3.38.
Felix was named to the MLB roster towards the beginning of Spring Training in 2010.
