Stephen Oris Drew is a shortstop from the United States of America, who plays in the National League, a part of the Major League in the country. A student at the Lowndes High School, Drew played baseball in the High School league before moving to college ball with Florida State University.

Drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks, he put his name in the record books along with his two brothers to become the only three siblings ever to have been picked in the first round of the Major League Draft.

At Florida State, he was named Freshman of the Year as well as the ACC Rookie of the Year. In 2006, he was selected to the All-Star Futures Game. In the same year, Craig Counsell broke his ribs resulting in the demand for Drew coming out into the open. Drew was playing in the AAA affiliate side, the Tucson Sidewinders but in July of 2006, he went onto the field against the Milwaukee Brewers.

In 2008, Drew hit for a cycle in Chase Field, against the St. Louis Cardinals, becoming the only player ever to do so. A single in the 1st inning; a triple in the 3rd; a home-run in the 5th, and a ground-rule double in the 7th inning added up to the "hit for a cycle".
