The Baltimore Orioles drafted him into the MLB in 2016. They put him through their minor league system and started him playing for the Aberdeen IronBirds. He then went on to play for the Frederick Keys and later for the Bowie Baysox. He was eventually added to the roster for the Norfolk Tides.
In 2019, the franchise added him to the 40-man roster of the Orioles. He made his MLB debut in August 2020 in a game against the Washington Nationals. In September, he was placed on the injured list and required abdominal surgery because of strain to his left abductor.
