Ramon Urias

Ramon Urias is a professional baseball player from Mexico. He plays in Major League Baseball and has been with the Baltimore Orioles from 2020 to the present. He has played a number of positions including infielder, second baseman, third baseman, and shortstop. He also played in the Dominican Summer League Rangers.

Career

In December 2010, he was signed by the Texas Rangers and he played with the Dominican Summer League Rangers. The Rangers, later on, loaned him to the Diablos Rojos del Mexico in order to play in the Mexican League. He played with them through 2017.

In 2018, he signed with the St Louis Cardinals and he played with the Springfield Cardinals. He was late promoted to playing for the Memphis Redbirds. In February 2020, he was listed as Designated for Assignment by the Cardinals.

In 2020, the Baltimore Orioles signed him after claiming him off waivers. He was later promoted to play in the Major League in August 2020.
