Mike Redmond

Career
Redmond graduated from Gonzaga Preparatory School in 1989 and went on to hone his craft at Gonzaga University. His professional journey began when the Florida Marlins signed him as an amateur free agent in 1992. He made his MLB debut on May 31, 1998, with the Marlins, where he spent the majority of his major league tenure. Redmond contributed significantly to the team's success, culminating in a memorable run that led to the Marlins winning the World Series in 2003.After his time with the Marlins, Redmond entered free agency and signed a two-year deal with the Minnesota Twins prior to the 2005 season. His versatility allowed him to serve as both a backup catcher and a designated hitter during his time with the team.
