His versatility was evident as he switched between teams, playing for the Winston-Salem Warthogs and the Birmingham Barons in subsequent years. Major Leagues

Gonzalez made his MLB debut with the White Sox on April 25, 2007. Despite a challenging start, batting just .185 in 189 at-bats, he remained undeterred.
