Bartolo Colon is a Dominican pitcher on the Boston Red Sox.

Colon began his career with the Cleveland Indians in 1997. The following year, he was selected to the All-Star game and helped the Indians reach the ALCS. Colon was dealt to the Montreal Expos midway through the 2002 season, and he finished the season with 20 wins and a 2.93 ERA. Colon then spent a season with the Chicago White Sox, before signing with the Anaheim Angels. In 2005, he won the Cy Young Award after winning 21 games. Due to injuries, Colon pitched very little over the next two seasons, but has pitched well in six starts for the Red Sox this season.
