Jamie Moyer continues to be one of the best supported pitchers in the Majors, as the Phillies knocked in 20 runs during their defeat of the Colorado Rockies on Monday night. Chase Utley hit a 3-run shot in the 1st, increasing his total to 16 on the season, tying him for the league lead. Utley also had three more RBIs, to tie his single game career high.

Chris Coste also had a 3 run homer, Pedro Feliz had 4 RBIs and Shane Victorino scored four times. Rockies starter Jorge De la Rosa was chased in the 4th after allowing seven runs on four hits and three walks.

Moyer had a strong outing, allowing only four runs on six hits through seven innings. His 235th career victory, his first over the Rockies, made him only the 6th pitcher in MLB history to record a victory over all 30 teams.

The Phillies always seem to come alive behind Moyer, averaging over 7 runs in his starts this season. In four of his last five appearances, the Phillies have scored at least ten runs.
