Castillo was heading back to the dugout after grounding out when leading off in the seventh inning. His return to the dugout was quite eventful as he tumbled down the stairs and required the assistance of his teammates to get back on his feet.

Angel Berroa came on as the replacement in the shortstop position at the top of the eight inning. Castillo’s place was taken by Alex Cora who moved to second base. Castillo had gone 1 for 3 on the night as he now takes a week or more off to recuperate from the ankle injury.
