Roy Halladay may or may not come to the Philadelphia Phillies but it seems quite likely that Cliff Lee from the Cleveland Indians might be the second on the list for their starting pitcher. Both the Phillies and the Indians have started looking at minor league players who might be involved to make the trade go through. Drabek - In Demand>

The Indians have stated that they would like to get a major league-ready minor leaguer in exchange for Lee so that they can be in a better position for the 2010 season. Kyle Drabek, of the Phillies, has been shortlisted as someone who fills that void aptly. The Phillies, on the other hand, have tried to keep Drabek for themselves by excluding him from the Halladay deal. If Drabek doesn’t go against Halladay, chances of him leaving for Lee are non-existent.

Jason Knapp is another pitcher who will be on the Indians’ radar as the 6’5”, 240-lb pitcher has shown incredible potential after being picked at 2nd overall, by the Phillies. the Phillies have already indicated that they have enough talent to be a part of the trade without throwing Drabek into the fray.

Lee has had a wonderful season with the Indians after pitching 152 innings at an ERA of 3.14 only. He has just one year remaining on his contract where he is slated to earn $8 million before being eligible for free agency.
